That’s right– Sherwood is “Tweeting”! If you’re unfamiliar with Twitter, here is what Wikipedia says about it: Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters, displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers).em>
What will it do for Sherwood?
Twitter is something that lots of “young” (or young at heart!) folks are doing, and having a twitter account will help get our name out there. It’s a great source of communication and reminders, as well as being a marketing tool.
How can I catch the Twitter wave? First of all, go to Twitter.com and create an account. (Don’t worry– you’ll be taken through it step by step.) Then click on “find people” and type in Sherwoodpres. Click “follow” once you find us. Then come back to your page (by signing into your account) and see what we’re up to.
